The Assembly is the highest-ranking body and it consists of all members of the society. It is responsible for passing the Statute, program and all other acts of CCSNM, it appoints and dismisses the members of the Managing Board and votes the yearly program of activities.
The Managing Board is consisted of 5-7 members of CCSNM elected by the Assembly. The President of CCSNM is chosen from one of the members of the Managing Board for a term of office of 2 years.
Mr. Miroslav Tonovski was elected as the first president of CCSNM. With over 15 years of experience in contamination control and cleanroom technology and over 100 projects around the globe, primary in the area of pharmaceutical industry, but as well in the healthcare and food industry and micro-electronics, Mr. Tonovski is an expert in cleanroom validation, testing and balancing of HVAC systems. One of his proudest professional accomplishments and highlights is being one of the authors of the best- seller cleanroom book “Cleanroom Management in Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare”, published by Euromed Communications and edited by Tim Sandle and and Madhu Raju Saghee. Nowadays, Mr. Tonovski runs the company PPG Cleanrooms dedicated to delivering turn-key cleanroom projects from A to Z.
The first Secretary of CCSNM is Prof. Dr. Marko Serafimov, who is a renowned and highly respected academic figure in North Macedonia. Before retiring in 2010, he had a plentiful 40 years long career as a full time professor at the University “Sts. Cyril and Methodious” in Skopje, Faculty for Mechanical Engineering and was a long-time Head of Thermal Measurements Laboratory and Chairman of the Institute for Thermo Technique. Prof. Dr. Serafimov is one of the region’s leading experts in HVAC, including HVAC systems related to cleanrooms. After his retirement, he is still very much active in his work as HVAC and energy efficiency consultant in different projects in North Macedonia and the region, as well as a member of many professional organizations.
